During 1984 Plena entered into what has been Plena’s largest and most successful investment in its history. By 1992 the Ytong group (producing and marketing aerated concrete blocks) had reached revenues of 1 Billion DEM and was covering some 44 countries including licences operation. The company was sold to RMC PLD during 1996.
