Dalmacijacement, with capacity of 2.2 M ton cement production, was bought through one of the largest privatisations in Croatia at the time. With a capitalisation of some 200 M DEM and 1,900 employees, Plena acquired the company in middle of 1995. After two and half years of intense restructuring, where revenue was increased and production volume per employee was tippled, the company was sold to RMC PLC.
