Governance of our investments

Strong corporate governance is critical to maintain the highest standards at Plena.

Plena Group is 100% private and does not publish any of its financial information. The Board of Plena Group is responsible for the management and operation of the group.

In addition there is an “Advisory Group” which is comprised of 6 people with solid transaction, cross border, legal, industry and finance expertise. The Advisory Group’s responsibility is to advise the Management Board of Plena Group on investment and divestment decisions as well as strategic operational matters.

The operating companies are run by a professional management who reports to the Supervisory board of the operations. The Supervisory board always consists of a Plena member, an industry expert, a local person with local insight/knowledge. The CEO/Managing Director as well as other main company directors part takes in the meetings when so required.

Plena has in place internal policies and guidelines which seek to reduce the instances when conflicts of interest arise and address conflicts that do arise in a way that protects and deals fairly with the interests of all those involved.
